Hello All, I cannot get a calling group set to AutoLogin to roll to voicemail. So, I set the group to AutoLogout and I am attempting to program the phone at the extension (4406D+ and MLX-5) with a Login/Logout button.

I can set the button to *764 or *765, but I cannot figure out how to set it up to automatically log into the calling group. *44 will not work for me as some users are in multiple groups.

Is there a way to set up a button with "one push" login logout to a specific calling group?

Best Regards,

Mike

You need to program an ES2 button on the extention in question - probably best done through centralized programming from the 4424LD+ Operator phone (if you have one) - and/or WinSPM.

As for voicemail coverage for the group - you need to overflow that group to the voicemail coverage group (usually 770) - and choose a time-based delay = to how many rings you want to the group - before the calls go to voicemail. You also nned to setup a voicemail box for the group in voicemail admin - and choose an extention to be the "message receiver" for the group. That is the extention where the message light would turn on for any messages left for the calling group.

Hi Tom, Thanks for your response.

The ES2 seems to log the user into all Calling Groups they are included in..it never asks me to enter in a default Calling Group.

In reference to the voicemail rollover. I have all calls go directly to AA. From there they can prompt out to the specific Calling Group...in this case Group 775. I had 775 set up as autologin, group call, with Cover Group 777 (my vm), time based delay = 20. I had the vm set up via merlin messging with notifier going to x4154. But, it would never ring over to VM...(see below for original config) i have this problem on all of my call groups when the AA transfers call to it....or even when i simply dial the group number.

I apprecaite your help.

Best Regards,
Mike

You cannor have a Group Ring cover to voicemail - unless you use a looparound trick. Group Ring does not qualify for any kind of coverage - including voicemail. So if you want voicemail coverage - you need to make the group's hunt type - something other than Group Ring
