avaya s8800 with 6.0 and 6 lsp's

has anyone seen a issue when doing a list config med for ex
list config media 1 and it will show the modules but cant see the s8300 but all gateways are up and working no issues .Its a G700 at all LSP sites and 1 G430 and all IP phones.we went from CM 2.2 to CM 6.0

A list config media is for displaying the configuration of a specific media gateway. You should see an ICC which is the LSP (S8300) in the list. A list config all will give you a list of all media gateways. We're on 5.2 and that is how it shows for our network.

I think Avaya broke a few things in 6.0 with the S8300D. You may see "no board". Run a "list survivable" to see if the LSPs are up and registered. The fact the gateways and phones are working is completely irrelevant. The LSP does not perform and function during normal operation related to the phones or gateway.

Even from the G700 a 'show mg list' will show V1 as "Not Installed".

Of course this may also be dependent on the gateway software version. I am currently running the 30.14.0. Avaya has released the 30.18.x software so things may be a little different.

Had this same problem. Cajun firmware must me viisa4_1_12 for release 6.

The beatings will continue, until morale improves.
