Hi guys,

Can someone help me about Avaya push notifications.
It's working before and now its not working.
There's an error "Apple push notification service unavailable" and "Push notification authorization failure: System ID is not provisioned"

I'll also update firmware version from 11.1.2.1 to 11.1.2.4 and also changed the account URL from accounts.avayacloud.com to accounts-ipo.avayacloud.com since there's an article from Avaya that they have made some changes to accounts.avayacloud.com but still not working.

Thanks,

I'm having some sort of the same issue with a customer since 2 weeks or so.

Created a ticket at Avaya, and of course you need to send them a ton of info and logs....

Hi Guys,

I am facing the same issue with two of our customers after upgrading to SP4.
In the Monitor Trace with filter to "http" you will see that the HTTP-connection to pnp.avaya.com is getting an "Bad Request" answer.

@Okkie26 would be great to get an info as you have some news from Avaya.

Thank you!

Hi Guys,

we found out that the issue comes from wrong time at the IP-Office Server.
After correcting the time it is working again. Just deactivate the Push-Service and activate it again.

Hope this is the same on your site!

Kind regards,
Jonas

APN uses TLS. Your TLS troubleshooting checklist should always start with:

[ol 1]
[li]Time[/li]
[li]Certificates[/li]
[/ol]

Only, once you've confirmed the first is accurate and the second appears valid should you look at anything else.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

Hi @IndianaJones

We already correct the time from our IP office and deactivate/activate Push service
however there are still alarm on SSA.

We are using UCM for time setting config source.
Do we need to make some adjustment for our UCM?

Thanks,

It's working now. We just need to use SNTP time setting config source to correct the time.

However, we encounter an issue for APN it only ring twice for incoming calls.

Hi @jaaambaaa,

have you checked if the certificate chain or root of accounts-ipo.avayacloud.com is known by the IP-Office?

Just upload the whole chain into the truststore.

However, we encounter an issue for APN it only ring twice for incoming calls." - Adjust the user's No Answer Time settings. The IP Office has probably been told that the call is alerting, and so started that running, whilst the iOS is still waking the app up and doing whatever else it has to do.

Its pretty normal in any scenario with mobile phones that you have to lengthen the user No Answer Times. If they are using the Workplace client as a mobile twinning destination, also look at Mobile Twin Delay (though by default that's just 2 seconds).

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

Hi @sizbut, It's working now.

Thanks for all your support guys.
