Avaya Partner VM R5 Resetting a password (for an extension) 1

The password for ext 26 was 1234. I am the admin but I do not know how to reset or change the password for that extension.

Help!!!
 
Do you know how to log-in to change the auto-attendant message? If so, use those steps and then instead of option 3 for auto-attendants, choose option 4 for extensions. You will be able to reset the password from there (to 1234).
 
It says mailbox does noes not exit. Should I create the mailbox? Are mailboxes different than extensions? If I dial ext 26 (internally) it rings. If I call the mail number and dial ext 26, it works.

 
The voicemail will accept any number. That could be why it is saying invalid log-in when trying the password. I would create mailbox 26 and that should take care of the issue for you.
