How do I disable call forwarding from the main 18 button phone? When calling into the location, it rings busy and automatically forwards to another number.

I have read feature code #4 is Call Forward - cancel. THis is not working. Any information on these older systems would be much appreciated. The phone was some how inadvertently put into this call forwarding situation and user does not know how they did it......I just need to turn it off.

Google says:

Forward Your Calls

1 Press <feature> 11.
2 Dial your extension number.
3 Dial the destination extension number.
4 To cancel, follow steps 1 through 3, but dial your extension number in step 3.

there is a number you can push on the phone to take it out of dnd? What is it?
I have an older Avaya Definity system. It is like #2 or *2 ....or something like those key strokes?

I am not on a partner system. I am working on a Definity system. Thank you for the reply though.
It is a 8410D phone and seems like dnd is activated. You can call out on the station, but when you try to call it, get a beeping tone...like dnd. I am assuming this is the problem, as it is only this 1 station with problem. I have tried deleting it from the system and tried swapping out the 8410 hardware.

Your thread subject says Avaya Partner.

You are now saying Definity? I'm confused. If it's a Definity do a "displ fea" and see what pops up for call forwarding. Those are your codes.

What do you get if you do a status station and a list trace on a failed call? Please post your results in the

Ah. Sorry, the thread title threw me off. [3eyes]
