Hello,
I have several Magix systems that were programmed with all operator Positions. This was completely unnecessary. It's been many years since I e dealt with this and am in need for a little help. I tried to delete the unwanted positions, but the system won't allow it. I remember it was easy to delete during initial programming. Can someone assist in deleting the unwanted Positions without starting from scratch? I know the Magix can be tricky. Thanks aa

You need to go to "Operator Positions" in SPM (System Programming) and delete them from there.

That's under "operators" in system programming, right? I did try to delete under that and did not work. Maybe I'm in the wrong section? Thanks for your reply.

are you possibly skipping/overlooking the last "save" action?
before you start, make two new backups.
there may have been a practical reason for eight operator positions.
of course you should expect a system reboot
