avaya lync integration

Hi Guys,

Is any one successfully integrate Avaya CM/SM and lync using Avaya client application? I have installed the Avaya client application on the computer in user and the Lync presence is updating everytime the user answer the call in his/her computer.

My issue is that Lync presence is not updating if the user answer the call or made a call using his SIP IP phone. I am not that familiar on this product or application but can you tell me if the Lync presence will update if the user answer the call using his phone?

it should, however on the ACA client the user need to be in desk phone mode in order for it to update the link status.
