Hi

One of our 16 port modules has suddenly stopped working, the status light goes to green for around 30 seconds then switches to red. Does anyone have any ideas of what could be causing this? Has the module failed?

Thanks

Alex

It looks like it is broken.
You could try a different power supply.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

Hi tlpeter

Thanks for the reply, yeah i was guessing it was broken since it was working fine then suddenly failed on me [sad]
I'll give another psu a go just incase!

You could also disconnect all telephones from the module and reboot it and control - in case one telephone is bringing it down.

I would definitely try another power supply before trashing it. I have had older dig 16 and 30's go red and a new power brick saves the day.

Reboot cycles like this are often caused if a Network device is accidentally patched into a DS port. (laptop user connecting to Phone skt. instead of network skt. & not noticing that they continue to operate on WIFI)

I would definitely try un-patching all the leads & then restoring them 1 by 1 until the offending circuit is located

What does monitor have to say on the subject with just a print and error filter running?

It may even say:
