Guys,

We have Avaya IP Office 500 V2 along with IP Office Customer Call Reporter all version 9.0, right now we have only one SIP Connection with our service provider and we are expecting couple more, but as you know for IP Office only one WAN Port available. How can i upgrade my IP Office to accommodate this change please need your valuable inputs.

Why would you get several trunks from the same service provider for the same customer?
Or if you use several service providers you can still route them over the same interface.

You would need to specify the reason to why you need more "WAN" ports.

Ya seems to be some confusion here.

1) You don't have to use a "WAN port" to connect to a SIP provider. The WAN port is really just a second LAN port both ports can be setup for SIP connections.
2) You say "right now we have only one SIP Connection with our service provider and we are expecting couple more". You are adding more SIP providers or you are adding more SIP connections to the same provider? If you are adding more SIP providers you can use the same interface or use LAN for one and WAN for the other. If you are adding more SIP connections to the same provider... you are adding more channels or more actual connections? That is 2 different things.
3) There is no way to add more LAN/WAN ports to a IP office (that I am aware of) unless you are connecting multiple IP 500s together with say SCN.

The truth is just an excuse for lack of imagination.

Customer want to have multiple Toll Free Numbers for different Services but as Wan Port already occupied what are the options.

Routing is the keyword.
How many wan ports do you think a system needs? One is the answer for sure.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

So you are adding more DIDs... no additional hardware is required... Just need to program them properly.

The truth is just an excuse for lack of imagination.

1st thing I would suggest to your customer is to find a competent maintainer that has a basic understanding of the technologies involved.

your question & response to me suggests that you have neither, I am also scared by the suspicion hat you have probably given your "Wan" port a direct public IP address

Do things on the cheap & it will cost you dear
