My tech cannot make speed dialing work using a short code or directory. It works fine for traditional toll numbers, but not toll free. We replaced a Partner ACS and the customer has been using [feature] 600, 601, 602 etc. He created a short code *600 and entered the action as "Dial" and tried 91800NNNXXXX. The call will not complete. He then does *601 with action as "dial" and entered 91NPANNNXXXX and it works fine. We can dial the toll free number from the 9508 and all is well. Short code is not working for some reason. This is an essential edition with no other licenses. is a simple replacement of a Partner ACS. He also stated he entered the numbers in the "Directory" in Manager and it still will not call toll free. Can you help? It must be something simple.
