Avaya IP 500 v2 Voice Mail

Recently installed a new Avaya IP Office 500 v2 9.0.5 build 972 and some of our users while in the voice mail listening to a message are receiving a strange sound, like warbling... Has anyone else had this issue and if so, what did you do to resolve the problem. Any help would be most welcome.
 
It is the new voice mail pro 9.0.5 build 4. Build in UC module.
 
have you tried web browsing into the uc module and stop and restart the service?

 
I did and also rebooted the system. The strange sound we hear from our users isn't consistent. Happens infrequently. Any other ideas?
 
when you rebooted the system this does not reboot the uc module as it is its own linux server, you have to reboot through the web browser or manually from the button on the uc module, if you hit file/advanced/reboot from manager then you did not reboot the uc module.

 
That makes sense. I'm using IE as my browser and not sure which option, is it under system status or IP office web manager? I looked at the IP office web manager and did not see an option for stop / start the vmail pro service. Please advise. Thanks
 
It is in UCM WebManagement. You can also use SystemStatus and go to Control Unit\UC Modules. There you have options to shut down and to start the module.
 
Not sure what the UCM webgmt is, however, I will go thru the system status - control unit/uc modules. Thank you for the response.

Is this a common problem or something new with the latest UC / Vmail Pro? Please advise. Again, thanks for your assistance.
