Hi

I'm trying to change the Out of Hours default greeting on a hunt group. I'm pressing *71 to access the mailbox. I'm asked for a mailbox number. I'm entering the Extension number of the Hunt group. The next prompt is for the access code. I'm entering in the Voicemail Code ?? Is this the correct code? if not how do I reset the mailbox code?

I've attached a file which shows the Voicemail Code section. I have tried to change it but I still cannot access it.

Thanks

Go to avaya learning. And follow a COURSE..

This is basic information you MUST know...

Yes, you're right I should learn and know this but everyone needs to start somewhere. I come from a Nortel background, fairly new to Avaya. What must be a member of the HG? I'm not logging anyone in, I've gone to a phone which isnt logged in an dialled *71. I have tried this for another HG called Night Service thinking I could change the message on there and that would be it. I could log into that HG fine with an access code.

I trying just to change the OOH messages on a HG but cant get access to the Voicemail.

To do what you're trying to do you must do it from a handset with the rights enabled the way I said above, not just any handset. Otherwise kids in the school library could collect the reception voicemail messages, for example.

What is *71 in your book?

In my book it is enable huntgroup. That means you want to login a user in the huntgroup. But for that it must be a member of the specific huntgroup.
