It's for CM4, S8300 and a G700. You can get a separate document on G350 administration. FYI, I don't recomend this, you should enlist the assistance of an AVAYA Business Partner, as you will need RFA access to get the licenses, password files, patches, etc.
Im thinking about using CM R5.1 on a Power Edge R200 Dell Server. Is CM compatible with this server? I intend to connect 4 IP Phones to this server and maybe I will use a G350 to connect 3 T3 fax machines to the system. I also need IVR feature on the system, as I need to relate our 3rd party database to the auto-attendant feature. Many thanks....
NoelOhashi, please start your own thread, do NOT threadjack.
the answer is no, you must buy an AVAYA server (S8510 is a Dell 1950 with a certain HDD setup and memory installed), and you need to buy it through AVAYA or an Authorized Business Partner to be able to get a license built with RFA.
CM is useless with out a license, it will do nothing and you will not be able to add any stations.
looks like your G350 is not registered. If you replaced the G350, you will also need to change the serial # listed on the "change media 1", to the current one, and you will also have to do a license swapout, to update the Serial # used in RFA for the license, and you will then have to load a new license file.
