Avaya Digital Expansion v2

Hi, installed an avaya digital expansion v2 however the 5410 model phone displays questions marks ??????????????????? however when I reboot the phone the screen is back to sought of normal

Problem I am having now is that the extension number is not being displayed and when you are dialing a number you dont see the number you are dialing, but the phone call is made, this work with intercom extension if i try calling extension 201 it rings and shows extension 217 calling, however if I dial 217 from 201 it rings but does not show me the extension number

Any ideas

make sure the 5410's are on the proper firmware. They are either R2.0 R5.0 or R6.0 depending on the firmware release of your IPO.

Hi, thanks Yep I see that the 5410 are R5.0 and 5420 R6.0 It works fine on the control unit, on the digital expansion it doesnt, how I go about updating the firmware so that the expansion recognizes it and that it works properly,

Any tips

Are the expansion modules at the proper release? They need to be upgraded to work with the release of processor.
