We have a 500v2 9.0 and we use ContactStor for voice recordings. ContactStor is critical to our business.

In troubleshooting another issue we need to upgrade our IPO to R10.1

Has anyone used ContactStor with R10.1

Is it supported by Avaya?

Will upgrading to 10.1 break ContactStor?

ContactStore is supported on 10.1, but it will go away in R11.

No. ContactStore is only supported up to 9.1. It was dropped from 10.0 onwards. You could probably make it work but Avaya won't support it.

ContactRecorder is supported up to 10.1 but will be dropped in 11.0.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

Yes, my bad. I misread it as Contact Recorder.

Can you help me?

Thanks!

Thank you very much!

I have found you have to chmod it.
Try chmod -R 777 /additional-hdd#1

Do this if contact recorder seems to be pulling from the VRL but cannot write to the mount point. I think this shows up on contact recorders logs

Seriously, never "chmod 777".

Why people keep giving this advise is beyond me, you might as well leave your key in the car and put an add in the paper telling where it is.

The mount point should be /additional-hdd#1/
It will den usually show "Current Partitions Mount Points: /additional-hdd#1/partition1/"

Also when I'm at it, hijacking a thread with a different question is bad forum manners, you should create a new thread or search for the answer that is already given in other threads.

Really sorry about that!

I had no intention, as the installation generated direct doubt, I did not think twice to ask here.

And I could not type this command that tells me, returns a error.

Anyway I will look better in the forum.

Thank you for your attention!
