Has anyone been successful in implementing Exchange 2010 SP1 UM with a CM 5.2 setup using SES? I've got a system running CM 5.2.1 SP8 and SES 5.2.1 SP4 that I cannot seem to get talking with Exchange. I've followed Avaya's documentation for setting up CM/SES with Exchange 2007 (avaya doc MS-UM-SP2-SES) to no avail. Their only documentation with Exchange 2010 is done with Session Manager rather than SES, although I did peek at that document as well to see if there were any glaring differences. After going through both sets of documentation however, I can dial the hunt group or an extension that is covered by Exchange, and all I get it dead air. I can see via a list trace that the call flows down to the SIP trunk group I built and I get a SIP/2.0 200 OK message, but dead air is all you hear on the set. Exchange UM then starts creating error event 1079 beginning with "The VoIP platform encountered an exception Microsoft.Rtc.Signaling.OperationTimeoutException: This operation has timed out."
