Ahhh it's only £80, shame my boss doesn't place any significance or faith in Avaya certifications, guess I'll have to pay myself

I don't find the exams hard, I find the questions they ask totally irrelavant to actually programming a system or troubleshooting, things like "What is the name of the window in Manager that you find the Huntgroup settings in".....how the hell does me memorising the layout of Manager and knowing the exact name avaya gives each little window and button help?....that kind of thing drives me crazy

andy the exam is free on avaya learning. took me about ten minutes. allow yourself an hour

The ACSS is a Pearson-vue exam isn't it, it is when I click on it anyway

Yes it is.
So spend 100 some euro/pounds just to get a score and receive back the certificate
Going to ask for an apointment somewhere this year.
My ACS is ending in about 6 months or so.

Strange, my ACS which should expire this year now expires in March 2012, the year the ACSS should expire ???
Then why not just rename it!

Either they have some funny smokes or they can't decide if they want to have people upgraded or not.

your boss should find the Avaya certification relevant the better his employees are the better his position within the Avaya dealers will be and the better he can negotiate discounts for buying parts.

Yeah, I have never understood why the yanks do that with the date, it seems logical to go from smallest to largest, plus they all tend to say "It's the 4th of July" not it's "July the 4th"
