Avaya 9.1 One X client issues

Just installed a 9.1 ip office 500v2 voice mail server is a dell running linux with voice mail pro and one X on same server.
everything works but im having issues with the client and outlook add on. I can log in as a user but not getting messages to pop up it continues to say checking messages. I have confirmed that anti virus is not blocking it and that the ports are open. I have tried every web browser IE, Firefox, Chrome also still same thing happens. i have told java that its a trusted site still nothing i installed a old version of java still nothing. Any ideals this is the first 9.1 i have installed all of my others are 8.1's and they work fine.

Any Ideas?

Did you set a voicemail password for this user ?
If so you may have to set the VM password in the configuration tab of 1XP

Im using visual voice on 9608 phones no passwords

you have to have voicemail passwords.
