Avaya 5610 + IPO R6.1 2

Hello,

I have upgrade a IPO R5.0.18 to IPO R6.1.12
The phones are connected.
If i reboot the phones, its OK.
BUT, when i create a new phone OR when a loggout/logon a phone, the screen is blank...and i dont see this phone in the LAN..this phone does not work. when i press the keys of this phone, sometimes i have a beep, sometimes not.

(i have enought endpoint licence).
 
Try *36 or *35xxx*yyy# (xxx = extension number yyy is login code)
PS you need to create a login code on the user, you can remove it afterwards.

i dont try *36 or *35 because the phone dont work..
i must reset value of the phone, and i can re-enter extension number, but i have blank screen again...
i try with 4 phones
i try with more extension, and with new extension with new H323 post.
i have blank screen again..
 
When the screen is blank did you try to press *35 or not?
Did the 5610 get the right firmware?

yes, i try to press *35, but i have nothing.

In "IPPhoneStatus" i have this :
I see the phone !with the good extension, with IP, BUT in column "Phone Type" i have "NoPhone" ....

Version Id of the phone : 2.9010
 
Try to reboot the phone, when it says "press *" press the start key, then press # untill "Enter Command" press "mute" CLEAR (25327) #

i try this.. but when i re-enter the extension or an other, i have same problem.
 
are you sure it is connecting to the IPO? Sounds like a wrong call server address or misconfiguration somewhere

I had a similar problem at a customer site. Tried everything mentioned above with no luck. I can´t explain why, but it had to do with the button programming. Erase the buttons on the phone and try to logon again. If it works, use User Rights for the buttons instead.
 
I bet you don't have a user to match the H323 extension you have created

i delete "profil" for this user, (profil where i had create button programming) and reboot phone. the phone work with this user !

so, i have create a new profil with same parameters and its work correctly.

Good thing it worked. Good enough for a star I would say :). Strange though. Some incompatability issue with 5.0(18) maybe?
 
I found exactly this problem :
Accented characters in the text of button programmable

I delete the accented characters in profiles, and now i work perfectly.

I havnt seen that problem yet but at leat now I will have some idea if it does happen
