We have a Avaya 500 v2 system running Avaya IP Office manager 9.1.500.145. We have two PRI lines and one SIP line for a Fax Server. I added a analog expansion card the other day and the SIP line dissapeared from configuration. I removed the analog card but its still showing up in the system. Each time i run the office manager, it keeps pulling a configuration that shows that analog card in the configuration. If i try to load the configuration file i saved prior to, the sip line configuration (which is setup for fax server) shows up in the system, but I cant send fax through the client and none of the faxes are being routed to print. Even if i replace the backup configuration file in the default directory where its pulling the configuration automatically, it still overrides to the configuration with the analog card in it.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Ed

Once a card is installed the system will keep it in the configuration even if removed.

You have to go into the programming and manually remove it in the Control Unit option

File>Offline>Open file for your backup
File>Offline>Send config to send your backup to system

This will load your config, with the SIP and without the analog, back on to your system. If you are saying you are doing this and it is still going back to the analog then you may have a bigger issue happening.

The truth is just an excuse for lack of imagination.

I will give this a go, and get back.

Thank you!

The offline send configuration did replace the old one. Easy fix, Thank you.
