Automatically select a line when picking up handset 1

Currently on my handset I have to select a line before I can dial out.

Is there a way that I can change this so that when I pick up the receiver I automatically have a line selected?

I have the same problem. I set pool to a and prime to 01. I know I have a setting wrong.. Any info would be appreciated.

What norstarboy125 said is accurate: the line that is automatically selected when the handset is picked up is programmed under Terminals & Sets > Line Access > Prime Line.

There is another thing to look for: the handset must be properly plugged into the handset jack (under the phone). No line is selected when the handset is plugged into the headset jack.

I went into configuration , line access it asked for show set I out 21
I then went to Line pool access, A=Y , B=N, C=N .
Then Prime Line:poolA

But It still does not pickup line 1 automatically when I pick up the hand set.

The handset is plugged into the picture of the phone, not the headset.


So, What am I doing wrong?

You still need to add line/s into the pool.
LINES/001/POOL/A

Is that under Line assignment? . I have line 01 assigned

Damn, still no go. Here is how its set now.

Prine set:21
Aux. ringer:N
Auto Privacy:N

Go to 2. Line access- show set- press next until you see prime line then change it here to pool a. You have the line programming part done but now you have to do the set.

Just wanted to add, that when I pick up the receiver it says No Line Selected.

conceptsottawa, read the entire thread again as they have spelled it out for you you need to add lines to pool a and make your prime pool a access.

acss sme acis sme acss cm 5.2.1 acss cm and cmm acss aura messaging.
