I’m trying to find a way of deploying IP printers out to the desktops without having to physically configure them one-by-one. I’ve found a way to add a printer and it’s drivers by using a script file but in order for it to work, the TCP/IP Standard ports have to pre-exist. Does anyone know how I can push a series of ports out? We do use Novell’s IPP printing and it works well but I am trying to find an alternate solution to locations that do not have servers and need to deploy standard IP printing.
Thanks,
