I have an active IP Office 500 auto attendant with a simple recording.

Thank you for calling. Dial the desired extension or wait to be answered.

How do I transfer this call to a specific extension?

Can you help me with this question please.
 
Look at the setting direct dial-by-number and an action of dialbynumber. That should be enough for you to try and come back if you have issues.

The truth is just an excuse for lack of imagination.
 
The specific extension if the caller waits to be answered? Make that extension the Fallback destination on the incoming call route
