I have a subscriber mailbox set up as an automated-attendant and when I originally setup this up I recorded a special greeting for the system greeting for this subscriber. I need to update this system greeting but I can't for the life of me remember how to record the system grreting for that subscriber. I have tried and the system tells me that I can't record a new system greeting. I know I had to do something special to get to the greeting but it has been several years and I can't remember. Can someone please help me out? Thank you!

1. The phone you are recording from will need to have a COS with console permissions.
2. Dial Feature access code (announcement access code)
3. press 1 to record
press 2 to listen
press 3 to record
4. Note if you have an older ann. card you should delete message before recording so you won't corrupt the card.

This sounds like it is a personal greetings in this users mailbox. I would log in to the box, go into option 3 for the personal greetings and listen to the ones that are recorded. If the one you are looking for is here you can also ch it or record another one and make it the active greeting.

When is the last time you helped someone, just because you were able to?

Thanks guys for your help. I was looking at the wrong subscriber. I forgot that I had entries in the auto attendant routing table which pointed one extension to a totally different sibscriber. It took me a while before I remembered the step I was missing.
