auto attendant on audix

The cio wants me to set up a dial out feature for our techs so when you press 5 it will route to a 4 digit ext thats a vdn and dial out. So i set up a auto attd on one techs vm to test. But the only question i have is can you leave a voice mail message on a box that is set up as an auto attd.

no you can my director told me how. you set the time out for the extension in question and have treatment as guest-greeting.
