Anyone know if Authorization Codes work across the SCN?

Example: User in location B logs into Location A and dials out. When she tries to enter the auth code it does not work. The Auth code is programmed on Location B and cannot be programmed on Location A because her name is not in the list for Location A right?

It is not in the SCN feature list

But you might try user rights, make sure the are the same on both sites and that the user A is ticket on the User right of site A.

I hope that does not mean that I have to create a user for each user that has an auth code... I will be creating at least 100 more user rights.. lol...

I guess I shall ATAC this.. Thanks Bas.

No just one on both sites but the basic settings like the buttons/force auth code ect. need to be set via User rights.

Well they have 5 sites. all of them have users on each branch and they want to be able to log into any branch and dial out long distance and also get the auth code to be tracked by metropolis. Seeing this, it looks like I need to create a user rights per user because they have they're own auth code.. not one user (300+users) will have the same auth code... This is hard lol.. If only they thought about this then I wouldn't have to do this..

password protect the phone from anyone else using long distance and also tracking on metropolis.

So protecting the phone to any other user then themselves so that they cannot make calls with it?
What about login in and out and locking the phone while they walk away?

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

A lot of the clients will forget to do that. And even adding the timeout to the user is still a hassle because within that split second of walking away and forgetting to log out, someone can walk up to the phone and use it to call long distance.

They want to make sure that no one is making LD calls without them knowing. The system has Metropolis on it and that tracks calls. Problem is that if anyone did use the phone without logging in and using their own code, then it will show that the dummy who forgot to log out will be charged for the call.

I am hoping that they will make Auth Codes SCN capable because at the moment, they cannot make long distance calls if they remotely log into a different branch... I tried it and it does not work. I was hoping that the IPO would know that the person came from A site and wants to grab the auth code at A site... There is no way to add an auth code at another branch with a remote user, does not show up in list..

I guess I will have to put in an ATAC request right?
