Hi

I have IP Office version 10

The client wants to use an API to auto lock a user from calling out if they have reached their airtime limit,
I have tested with the account code- and you can block "user" on the IPO by changing the user rights , however the user can still use the account code on another users phone ,

I tried authorization code as that is tied to a user, but i have to tick force authorization code - under the users short code tab, even if the user roghts changes to a barred state they can still call out because the users shortcode overrides user rights,
is there a way around this? or is it possible for an API to query the Account/Auth Code and delete it?

Thank you

If you're changing the User Rights profile why not have the user shortcodes in there?

Hi

Because if i use the shortcodes under user rights - i cannot set force authorization code there ,it only allows force account code

You can send the calls to an ARS where you can Force Authorization Code.

Hi

How do i do that?
When i tried setting the ARS they were still able to dial out without any code,
Please note this is Server Edition- i have a primary, and expansion, calls route out via the expansions onto a PRI, the users live on the Primary, would i set this on the ARS of the primary?

Thank you

Hi

I managed to use the ARS and set force auth code, so they have to use an auth code to dial out
the only problem is the Auth Code cannot be blocked ,so even if a user is barred they can use the code at another phone, any suggestions?

You need to explain the purpose of this and who are making these calls that they are not supposed to do, there might be a better solution than what you're trying to do.

Hi

Tha client has a prepaid billing system and they give each employee a dial out code linked to their tms which has a limit of a certain amount of minutes, if the users minutes have been reached before the end of the month they want the user blocked from making any outbound calls, i can block the user but not the authorization code
