Dear Gurus,

I am new to Aura implementation world and was hoping if I can get some good material to start implementation of Aura 6.x CM on G450 with s8300D or s8800 servers.

What I am looking for a guide with basic instructions to start the installation once the hardware is racked and stacked and subsequently steps to configure SP, SM, SMGR, CM.

For CM, I am looking for a detailed step by step approach for completing programming like starting with the very first command till creating all the extensions and placing calls (incoming call treatments, route patterns, system wide settings, codec sets, network region etc, network maps etc.).

There are a lot of material on the web which explains the above requirement, however I have not come across any material which provides a step by steps procedure to completely implement and administer these elements.

Any leads or support is very much appreciated.

Thank you.

Other than that you need to join avaya learning and the avaya support site and register for some courses , but the above guides do provide a step by step process to what you have requested but you will need to understand the terminology , that is something you will gain by playing about , experience of working installing and maintaining the equipment or go on a course.

To provide a tailored step by step explanation of what you are after would require somebody to sit here for 24 plus hours and type out everything you require ... i doubt you will get that.But good luck

Dear montyzummer,

Thank you for providing this information. It is most appreciated.

I would also recommend devconnect documents on how to integrate CM with different things.

Some are really good and will start with a vanilla PBX and run through everything you'd need to set up a dial plan, network regions, trunks, etc to SIP trunk to something else.

Here's a good example:

And, the CM Screen Reference is vital - it'll tell you what all those fields you're filling in mean.

@Kyle555
