I programmed a messaging to skill (audix) and then the VM extension. However, when it goes to VM, the beginning of the greeting is cut off, by about 2 seconds.
And if U call the extension directly, you hear the entire message with no problem?

Yup, when you call it, it plays the entire message. Announcement 2861 says that they cannot leave message at this time, you may continue to hold, or you can call back later.

Try taking out the waittime hearing ringback. My system is simalar no problems. Maybe the messaging step starts and the wait time is still....waiting.

I always check with you guys first when they mention "billable" support.
Bit the bullet and called Avaya for support on this one, luckily it wasn't billable they actually admitted it was a programming error on initial setup.
Turns out they programed the audix extensions wrong, so they tweaked the station settings and voila.
