Intuity AUDIX has been set up but when a call goes to voice mail, the caller hears "Your call is being answered by AUDIX. Please enter the extension you are calling......How do I get "your call is being answered by Audix, the party you called, John Jones, is not available....

Removed the night destination from hunt group 5 but it did not change the call handling...still getting the default cimAUDIX

Per rockspops’ suggestion…..what options should we use on displaying the Adminstrator’s log?
Application???
Event ID ????
Search string?????

Leave the filter page blank except for today's date. This way you'll get the widest cast on your net.

Make the call - make sure it fails.

Run the Display Admin report from the Audix command line.

Copy and paste the results into your reply.

Thanks!

Something is messing Annie up, she won't answer at a default level unless she is given bad information or a bad destination as you have seen before.
Do "disp listed" and see if a different night destination is listed there, if there is no field for a night entry then do "disp tenant 1" and look there.
Certain fields will override other entries, the switch is sending the wrong message on the link, and Annie doesn't say "the number you have dialed is not a working number", she says please try again.
I have used a modem "sniffer" setup to watch what is being sent to and from the link and somewhere I have that info, but I don't have the foggiest notion which binder it is in anymore.

Did display admin and last line was
4/13/07 20:26 VM adm_cais 1 non subscriber 4352- default treatment

So I added subscriber 4352 as auto attn.
Changed the routing table to 4352 4331 4352
Made the call and got the default treatment

Then changed the routing table to 4331 4331 4352
Made the call and got the default treatment

I do not believe 4352 exists inthe switch..is the next step to add station 4352?

disp listed directory numbers was blank..ie:

Disp tenant is an invalid entry

====

Do "list extension 4352" and see what the switch says,
That appears to be what the switch may be sending for the switch night destination, so it has to exist as something somewhere.
Also, Do "disp Console" and see if anything exists as a night destination there.
What we are trying to find is an overriding night destination administered as a system destination that is apparently overriding anything else.

With the Routing table as follows, an outside call on Sunday gets the default system greeting from cimAUDIX.

Incoming called Business Holiday Day Night Alternate
Number Schedule Schedule Service Service Service
4331 bus1 4331 4352

But an internal call to 4352, gets the auto attendant.
After making these two calls, the ‘display admin’ report does not show any records

John,
You have indicated that there is no night destination in the "listed directory numbers" field.
You have 4331 as the night service activating ext. under console para.
You have 4331 as day, and 4501 as night in the trunk gp 5.
You had 4331 as the incoming #, bus1, day 4331, night as 4501. Under Bus1 you indicate M>F 8:30>5:30 so Annie answers as 4331 during that time, before and after should have gone to 4501 internally regardless.
The switch sends info as to day/night mode in its messaging, the only suggestion I can think of to make is remove Bus1 from the AA routing table and see if it will work that way following the switch mode.
Other than that I am out of ideas, The switch and voicemail are strickly logical they only do what they are told or act on what they are given.
Something would have to be interfearing to cause it to act or respond incorrectly.
If you cannot resolve this with the information that I have given, you will probably have to try to find a tech in your area to work on this, because I don't know what else to suggest.

If you are in the Denver area I will come over and fix it for free.

orypecos...thank you for the offer but I am in Connecticut...I will be working on a solution this weekend and in the meantime, I welcome all suggestions and guidence....john
