Well, your responses are very interesting, thanks for your input. The first CICS / FLASH2, I actually serviced was back in 2007/2008. That CICS from my notes looks like it had REL 01J CICS DR1.0(DR) NT7B58AA-93, and the FLASH2 was an NT5B06DC-93 2-port REL 06B, PC card: NT5B78DM ENG SW1.7. The FLASH2 died at one point, and it was sent to J&J for repairs. J&J replaced the PC card with type NT5B78DC ENG SW3.0 (2.0.1). Both units had the strange audio distortion, which sounded to me like bad digital audio. So, fast forward to 2011. I was asked to install a system that was a CICS with 4.1 version 30NFG00 NAT on the KSU and FLASH2 NT5B07 (2.1) with PC card NT5B78EC REL 02 VM 2.0. I did default the CICS @ the 4.1 level and tested it and the FLASH2 to make sure it worked before the install. It had the same audio distortion as the system from 2007/2008. Because the client wanted CID and T7316E sets, it needed to be updated to 7.1 version 30HDC12 NAT. So I did that, and I defaulted the FLASH2 also. But the audio distortion was still there when everything was set up, programmed, and recorded. So I was just thinking about this condition and wanted to find out what the cause may be. The client has never mentioned the audio distortion, maybe they don't hear it. I don't know? But it is obvious to me when I call there and hear to auto attendant menu. I initially tried to speak at different levels when recording the greetings, etc., but that had no effect.
Any more clues?
