Im trying to log into an option 81c and all that comes up is this AUDO32 Message. Can anyone help me get through this? There are no calls going through the system so I tried a manual reset and the same thing happned. I could see it booting and when it was done this message came up and would not let me talk to the switch at all!!

Solutions:
1. You're not using a null modem cable to the terminal.
2. Since you can "see" switch information, you still might be at E,7,1 for speed settings.
3. You're login procedure is wrong.
Have fun...

1.- The cable is straight trough but has a null modem adaptor.

2.- My settings are N,8,1

What would you suggest?

Depending on the software release (if it's old...), try using caps when logging in.

This is all that showes up! It wont let me even try to login. This pops up about every 20 mins. or so. The Rls. is 3.0 I am connected with a null modem cable to J25. Serial settings are N,8,1.

Do you need a null modem for J25? Try the same connection on J23. You need a null modem for one but not the other I think

Thanks,

Buddy

Well im able to see the error messages so that tells me that It is cabled correctly or I wouldnt see anything rite?

You should be only be connected to your SDI paddleboard, unless you are upgrading or updating to the Core.

correct Cable most likely correct

Besides - problably working before and you made no changes.

AUD0032
Junctor audit indicates a timeslot is idle but the junctor memory is
marked busy. Time slot is marked idle. Junctor address and memory
contents are output.

and INI might correct this - give it a shot later when you have a service window. INI may also correct TTY issue.

If you need to talk to switch before you can try an INI, Try a different TTY or if large switch try core port.

So I swapped CP cards and did a sys load and I am now able to communicate with the switch but I am still getting the AUD0032 errors.

If you have a ran card try disabling that to see if the aud32 errors clear. What software level are you on? I'm running 5.5 and had the aud 32 errors and there were patchs to correct the issue.
