I'm trying to get an 1-800 number to ring directly to a hunt group we have here on our BCM 450. I have the 1-800 number forwarding to one of our DID numbers which is defined in Target Lines with the DID number entered in the Pub. Received # field, but nothing entered for a DN, control set, or prime set.

In the hunt group, I set up a hunt group with the necessary sets added as members, and added the DID number line under Line Assignments. I've set "if busy" to overflow, "queue timeout" to 30, and "Overflow" to our VM DN.

Now when I call the 1-800 number, it does make it to the hunt group, but it only rings twice, after which point if no one answers, the call is sent to our auto-attendant rather than going to the overflow after 30 seconds.

Any ideas how to: 1) Get this number to ring more than twice. and 2) Get the number to go to voicemail after a period of time?

check the DRT to Prime for that line, also check and make sure that AA is not set to answer that target line.

That's what it was! In the auto attendant there was an entry for that line. I had only been looking in the BCM manager and I missed that.
