Hi

What I am tring to do is setup an IP trunk between a Avaya SOE (Small Office Edition)and S8500 using a VPN connection.

I can get it to work from the SOE to the S8500 by dialing 8
and the ex number, but I can't get the S8500 to dial to the SOE.
The ARS/AAR Dialing without FAC is set at no on the S8500.

I tried to go to change system-parameters customer-options, and I get: Permission denied for specified command.

Does anyone know another way around this?
Thanks,
Jim

License issue, CM will not let you dial w/o FAC.

It would most likely not be a billable RTU for that. But
whomever you get to change the license may charge for setting it up. Make sure they make it on and unlocked, which would allow you to make change system customer and toggle it from "n" to "y" and back after a new license is installed.

Thanks Guys
I did find a way around it.
I set the ip trunk for outgoing and set my ex. on the s8500 with EC500 to a hunt group number in the SOE.
