We've worked and searched to install Applications Server on this HP Proliant DL120 with a hardware raid. The issue we have is the missing raid driver within the CentOS distribution on the image DVD from Avaya. We see from HP the instructions if you are simply installing Linux but how do we load up the raid controller driver into our installation?

If vegetarians love animals so much, why are they eating all of their food?

I thought the hardware RAID was configured in the server BIOS, the OS knows nothing about it.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

I've installed many Dell servers with software and hardware raid and have not had this problem. The HP docs indicate the drivers need to be installed during the OS installation. Here is the doc from HP:

You need to use the HP DVD and install it from there.
If you do nto do that then you do not have a raid.

BAZINGA!
