Hi All
Haven't been here in a while. Hope you are all doing and keeping well, albeit a bit older and wiser:)

I'm baffled on this one and having read through the manuals, install/admin/user, the only reference to this I can find is related to Server Edition, but in my case I have ip500v2 and 11.04 Centos6.10 app server.
So the issue is this:
Web user navigates to :
appserver1.theTaker.com/WebManagement/index.html
This is a web proxy that passes requests to client's app server.
From external the following shows:
Web Tab shows "Cloud Self-Administration"
Login screen shows:
Cloud Self-Administration
with these options in the drop-down:
1
Self-Administration
- linking to enabled web services for the user
2
Customer Administration
- linking to 7071 for app server management
3
Embedded Call Reporter
- 404 - not found on embedded file server

From internal - using DNS splitting,
user navigates to the same URL, resolving to a private IP,
Web tab shows "IP Office Self-Administration", option 2 from above.
No option to change the application.
I's it related to secure certs I'm thinking? The local cert is self-signed so browser user has to install, but external users don't.

Thanks for reading,
Dave

Hey!

Long time no speak!

What are you trying to get to? user self admin is on the IP500 itself, not the app server.

APSS/ACIS/ACSS-SME
not arrogant, just succinct.

Hi Tom,
Yes, very long time. Hope you are keeping well.
I was trying to understand how I get "Cloud Admin" versus "IP Office Self-Admin" when I connect to the external IP vs internal. I couldn't figure it out. Yes, self-admin is on the PBX but from external, which is routing to the app server, I get the options above.
I suspect my web proxy is causing it, which is nice to know.
I updated all the certs and tested again without the use of a web proxy, no port or /path returns "About IP Office R11" homepage with these options:

IP Office Application Server - Linux PC R11.0.4.2
System Name: AVAYA-APP-SRV
IP Address: recorder.theTaker.com
IP Office Web Manager
System Status
Call Reporter

It's not an issue, I just couldn't replicate it happening, but sod that:)

Cheers
Dave
