Anyone using Proteus Reporting 1

Hi,

We're looking at getting the proteus reporting software is there any "blips" it causes? How do you run it and most importantly is it worth it?

I've used Proteus on several other switches, including Definity ip600 (ip connection) and had no problems at all with it.

It's one of the best loggers I have used (and, no I don't have any connection with them!)

Be carefull with IPO 2.0 , it can be made to work bunt needs a little tweeking because avaya nolonger support the SMDR application.
use delta server instead, config Proteus to look in the correct directory & ensure that the copy of smdr installed by proteus does not run

Is there anything I should ask a supplier / potential supplier regarding this software.... I ain't no phone expert! (And the me over stating my knowledge).

Also I presume it can handle DECT phones no problems?

Dect phones are no problem, you can use any of the folowing

1) standard domestic DECT phones connected to a pot
2) the Avaya copmpact dect base station (up to 8 handsets)
3) the avaya external DCU
4) Wirless IP Phones

Aditional integration is available as an option on the compact dect & the DCU

Ooo, the stories I could tell about our installation

Clue: Hey, installation guy, ever read the PDF file on proper installation of the Base stations? You know the bit about at least 5m and not 5cm apart?
