anyone know where i can get 2.1 software??

hey guys,

i have a small office unit that is new and has 2.0 software. if i was told right, i cant talk to the unit unless i have 2.1 MANAGER software?

if so, i cant find the 2.1 software. does anyone know where i can get it?? i want to upgrade to 4.1. i tried to upgrade without luck.

any help would be great.

I think the new manager will see these older units to upgrade but not setup.

Give it a go with a 4.2 manager. 3.2/4.0/4.1 manager might not work. I think they changed it in 4.2 but it could have been 4.1. Haven't had to upgrade from anything lower than 2.1 for a long while!!!!!!

BTW how hard did you look for older Managers, I'm guessing not that hard!!!. You could have started with Avaya Support downloads!!!!

i looked at avaya's support page. the only thing i get is an option to download 3.0DT software. i have tried this, but the software is UK stuff???? it has funny shortcodes? it also puts the system as ALAW???

anyways, i will try the new 4.2 software to see if that works.

Sorry, by bad. 3.0DT is UK stuff. You lot over the water never got the INDeX. Too stuck on the Definity!!

Try 3.0(69) or 3.1(65) Admin downloads to get you started.

Make sure you read the docs on intermediate release for the SOE.

My next door neighbour has got it up and running, just moved in my new home. My other ADSL contract is almost ended and that was 20Mb Down 1 Mb up.

Just did a test.
