Anyone here use NMS Adaptive call recorder?

Customer has run out of support with NMS and Im stuck trying to re-install the Console and Desktop app - keeps borking on the AM Data Directory when I launch the app.

I have the AM Data dir shared and everyone has full rights.

i can browse the folder over the network and is even set up as a mapped drive.

grrrrr

Never used the call recording but have installed adaptive desktop on a few sites.

Usually just map a network drive to the AMData folder on the adaptive server machine, browse to it, go into the software folder (I think) and install the desktop software.

During install it will ask for the location of the AMData folder and will already be populated with C:\AMData but you need to browse and select the mapped drive you created.

cheers for that. thats what Ive done, but it tells me it cant access the files in there......

You can't access the files when trying to install or when trying to open the adaptive desktop?
 
same applies when i attempt to use the Management console as a client app too.

Hmmm, always handy.

All the problems I've had are usually network related, permissions on the folder etc, doesn't explain it not working on the server though.

Have you set up the gatway stuff in the adaptive management console?

Have you created users in the AMC?

What os is the adaptive server running on?

I'll stick it on my lappy and see if I can think of anything else

I can't install it without a valid serial number
