Greetings,
I am new to Avaya, formally Nortel. I have 6.3 system, with 9611G SIP stations. No ACD/Hunt group, just answering DID calls. Rolling out Plantronics 530 Headsets. I've looked at the threads and it seems all I need to do is turn on "manual answer". I'm looking for call control via the headset, not a "zip tone" or forced call. Is that correct? Thank you in advance.

You will need the APV-63 adapter to give you the ability to answer from the headset. No settings changes are required in CM. There is an setting in the phone menu for whether you want alerting when offhook and onhook (default), hookswitch only, or neither (if memory serves, you can also set this with the 46xxsettings file). Alerting when offhook will interrupt audio when a second call comes in. We changed to hookswitch only so you still get a beep when the phone rings.

Good Morning Coolwhisper,
Thank you for the prompt response. I do have the APV-63 cable. I should have mentioned that. I got into the set and made the necessary adjustments. All good. Thanks Again.
