Hello all,
I have a customer with an MICS 3.0 *shudders*.
Here is the situation:
I have an extension 232, the bossman.
Three other phones, 221, 225 and 247 all have Answer DN keys of 232 on them.
Now, a call will come into the Target Line 169, DID for extension 232, and extension 221 will answer call, then transfer to 232.
232 is now on a call. The next call to that Target Line will come in, but will only ring the second intercom key on 232, not any of the Answer DN keys. The customer wants this Answer DN key to ring on second call.

The second call will ring Answer DN key if 232 initiates an outbound call from his phone.

Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

Program your AnsDN ext's for line 169 appear&ring with 2 or 3 appearances.

Thanks for the quick response. I tried that, but this software won't let me create multiple target line appearances.

We had a customer that wanted that and the only way was to put the target line along with the ans DN on the phone. That way they could tell the call was for the other phone .I guess ringing thru the I/C they can't tell that they can not tell who the call is for .Them or the other phone. That is the limitation on the older S/W.

Under Terminals & Sets, Line appearances, enter line 169, change to A&R, then press show to change the number of appearances. (Or am I forgetting something about rev 3.0?)
