Anonymous calls on Gamma SIP

Hi,

I have a customer who has an IP office with Gamma SIP trunks, they want if possible for their users to call out anonymously periodically, i know we can tick the anonymous tick box under the sip tab but they would need to be using the manager software to do this which would be impractical. Is their a way they can achieve this themselves by either dialing a different code to access a different ARS table perhaps? or by some other means

If they have Avaya feature phones (for example 1600, 9500, 9660, J100) then the user can select Withold Number in the phone menus.

You could also try using the W shortcode character. Use a dialing prefix to route to an ARS that withhold the CLI when required.

...and be aware that you really need to test it first. A lot of SIP trunk providers don't support it or only if you pay specifically for it.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.
