Can some one help me out how to setup T1, I have E&M Wink circuits on a T1 and the CO is sending me *ANI*DNIS* to show caller ID. As far as Route and IDC table.
Nortel 11C
Rls 4.5

ani...automatic number identification,, is sent to 911 equiptment only

dnis... directory number id service, also a 911 term. the provider may be sending clid (calling line id) which is the calling number and dni.. directory name ident..

but neither has zip to to with ld 49 (idc).. since your not using pri's that inforamtion is on each channel (inband). if your interface type and rls are correct in the route, you should see names from the ss7 table and numbers or the calling party.. send that call to a station with add/tdd in cls and you should see the information.

because your using e and m, a 1940's stype trunk. all your calls are going to a central answer point. e&m are ear and mouth ckts, old 4 and 6 wire style trunksand didn't work that well back in the 60's when i replaced 100's of them with ground start.. today if i wanted to use t1's. mid 70's style trunking, i would order wink start and two way did's

Thanks for the reply john,
There are (2) 1-800-963-8364 and 8459 that are point at DNIS 5959. Everytime i call the 800's it go to the operator instead of 5959 CDN in callpilot menu. The call display the acod(8141 1 *516* 0 )516 is the area code im calling from.

tnx again

If it is going to the operator, you have an open in that CDN. When you prt it in ld 23, is it showing acquired?

John, thanks for the ani dnis info * on me.

Thanks for all the reply.
5959 is a cdn in ld 23 pointing to callpilot 6000 and there is already a 800 coming from another carrier point at 5959 that is working today.

is this route your 1st did route? if so post your ldn.. and trad a call on the trunk to see what numbers you are getting..

another command is ld 96 enl msgi x on the d, then call the route.. that gives you great call detail

5959 is a CDN..then what is 6000.6000 should be a CDN with a DFDN going to another acd dn that is NCFW to a live person, such as an operator so if CallPilot goes down a live person can answer. Is 5959 a Multimedia CDN for faxing or something?
