I have some analogue phones and I am having trouble transfering a call from one phone to another. I have just checked the Class Of Service (CLS) and it has XFD - Call Transfer denied. In order to make this work, I need to set it so XFA, right?
Also a good idea to use LD 81 LST Feat XFD as a check. You may have more phones with XFD that you thought which the users haven't - yet - discovered. Saves future hassle.
If you want to used Transfer, conference and exchange feature from the analog set, give CLS TSA. It override CLS XFA but give the ability to used those 3 features regarding the codes entered in MPO block of LD 15.
CNFD for conference(give 3)
TGLD for toggle (give 2)
DISD for disconnect (give 1)
Then use
Flash + DN for transfer
Flash + 1 for revert and cut the current call
Flash + 2 for toggle calls
Flash + 3 for conference
I am right that when the XFD is applied to an analogue phone it isn't able to transfer the call? When the user tries to do it the meridian just transfer the call to the attendant and since I do not have an attendant it goes to the night number - in my case that is my Meridian Mail.
Does not that sound like a plausible call flow? And when I set the XFA this should stop.
