AMS: No Confire or Alerts

Hello everyone,

I have just installed Symantec AntiVirus Small Business Edition. I have managed to get the osftwareinstalled and working successfully on 9 computers (1 server and the rest clients) apart from the AMS (Alert Managment Server).

When I load up this dialog box there is no alerts or actions to edit and the configure button is greyed out.

I have tried rebooting the computer, stopping and started teh srevices to no avail, has anyone got any hints or tips as I am stumped.

I know it's been a while, but I'm having this same problem... do you have any info that could help me find that "default" alert?

Hello,

I basically de installed and reinstalled the software and it all worked correctly. I basically think the oringasl instal failed to work correctly the first time.

I know there are some problems with unistalling the software and you can find stpes on the symantec site which you can follow to completly deinstall all traces oft he program before resintalling, this could be worth trying if a normal remove does not fix the problem.

I do not have the correct links unfortatnly.

Thanks... yes, we uninstalled EVERYTHING, then it started to work as expected.... thanks for the reply...
