Hi

We have some 4625SW IP phones which were configured with static IPs, which we need to reconfigure.

* on boot does not work (as no DHCP prompt) and Hold A D D R # does not work when booted?

How can we amend the static IP addresses?

Thanks
B

Hold V I E W #

For reconfigure then press "hold" and type clear (25327)
This will erase all settings on the phone and reboot
Then you should be able to press the *

I always use the mute button and not the hold key. so try mute 2337#

Try mute 25327 (clear)

Hi

Thanks for your posts, but no luck at all. I have tried all your suggestions both when the phone has booted connected to the phone system and by making the TFTP server unavailable and trying it after boot.

Thanks
B

turn off the headset function on the IPphone, otherwise the HOLD xxxx # will not work.

i had the same problem with some 4620SWIP sets. the phone would not let me press the * button to reprogram the phone settings. i had to unplug the phone and keep pressing the * button from boot up. i was able to then set the phone up. i tried to do the "mute clear" and other commands, but they did not help.

hope this helps.

Hi

Thanks

That is because the phone once loaded a 46xxsettings file were the administration options have been disabled.
The only way to reset these options is to enable the administration options in the 46xxsettings file and reload the settings in the extension

Hi

Thanks for your post. I already have the setting below in the config file (not commented):

SET PROCSTAT 0

But still no luck.

Thanks
