Hi All

I work for an establishment that is running Aloha 6.2.30.
It is in the redundant mode, I was able to get it out of redundant for a short period, however it turned out that we had a bad network switch that interrupted the connection with the server and I had to
put it back into the redundant mode. All hardware issues were resolved, now I can't get the system out of the redundant mode using the fileserver recovery utility.
Any help would appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks coorsman.

I did everything as per your post and it checks out.
I still could get the fileserver recovery to work.
In addition I made the mistake of telling the manager to use the "new data".
How do I restore the command sequence back to the "Data" folder.

Ok.
I changed the name of the "Data" file to Newdata and removed the recent newdata file and that worked.
The issue now is that when I start the Manager program I get an error message that the CTLSvr has been disconnected (trying to start it in services does not work) and a EDC error that it is not registered.
HELP!!!!

do you want to do a goto meeting with me? I will dial into your computer I can fix it.

Cheers,
Coorsman

you have to have a newdata folder - copy the data folder to newdata and delete the trans.log file.
