Hi all!

like it says in the subject:

Agenda reminders in Outlook 2002 come too late. most of the time a couple of hours or days.

Any one else had the same problem? or have a solution?

thanks,
Danny

Um, I'd suspect this to be an Outlook problem?

Does the same thing happen if you use a Terminal Services (RDP) client?

(I don't want to say "Doesn't happen to me", but...:))

Hope this helps CitrixEngineer@yahoo.co.uk

One day I WILL take that Exchange exam...

You've narrowed it down to Outlook/Exchange, anyway.

Outlook 2002 reminders will work fine if you are having only one citrix or terminal server.
The problem:
Outlook checks the value of the "first-run" key from HKEY_CURRENT_USER againts "first-run" of HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE". If both keys have the same value, the Outlook reminder will work

There are two solutions:

Solution 1:
The first one is checking the value of the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE key and setting the key of HKEY_CURRENT_USER to the same value at logon on time with a KIXtart script(That´s the way I solve the problem)for example

Solution 2:
Installation of Office XP Service Pack 2 and the following Outlook Update which is available since January 2003:
