I recently migrated our 10 user netware 5.0 system to netware 6.5 with 10 user licenses. Everything was going smoothly.
I had restarted the server and was trying to install the user licenses.

I tried to load admattrs.nlm and get a 601 error after inputting the admin username and password.

So I looked for another way to load my licenses. I tried installing Imanager but it requires software we don't really want on our data server.

So I loaded NWAdmin for windows NT and it seemed to work perfectly. I installed the licenses and started checking workstations and reconnecting the groupwise clients.

Turns out I'm only able to login 3 users out a time and get a "too many sessions are already open error" when I try to log any other user in. I checked the users and removed those we do not use anymore. All of our print servicing is handled through Microsoft Print sharing so there are no printer services "logging in".

Anyone have any ideas? I'm only familiar with netware and am not an expert at all. I probably should have been to try to pull of this whole thing but like I said everything was going picture perfect.

Yeah I'm certain I can fix the Groupwise POA problem...I've just been manually loading the POA.

Dsrepair shows no errors so I think everything is fine there. This is the only server they have. A call with a Novell Gold tech nearby was inconclusive, he thought we got a bad license. A call to Novell on that and they reassured me that the license was ok and that there new unlimited license program only shows a server license and says "Unlimited" in the license as per TID 10100768. So I removed all of the old licenses as per that TID and still got nothing.

So with that, I think I'm going to do a data back up, apply the newest service pack to see if that fixes anything if not I will probably unmigrate the server. Wipe the drive, reinstall Netware using a full install into it's own tree with a new server name. Make sure everyone can connect. Move the data files, install groupwise on that server and move the PO files over. I think this should work and be the best way to go about it if I'm having some kind of file conflict.

Hi Guys,

I want to thank you all for all your help.

I think I found the problem. lsapi.nlm is not loading properly.

Do you think installing Service pack 6 will correct this problem? Unlike that link I never installed service pack 2 it just appears that is not loading.

Since VERSION shows your base license installed, I don't think this is your problem.

Does Remote Manager work? You can goto Manage Applications ->List Modules and view every module running. You can verify whether lsapi is running.
