How can I check to see if I can provision anymore PRI's on my switch? I have a CS1000MG Succession 3.0. My hardware supports up to loop to 52. I already have 8 Pri's provisioned. They reside on loops 2,3,18,19,34,35,56,57. I am in need to add 3 additional PRI's. I have PRI cards but not sure if I have enough loops to support. Please Advise! Thanks In Advance!

How many network groups do you have? It appears you have at least 2. The other thing you need to consider is MSDL cards for additional D-channels. Network group 0 handles loops 0 to 31 and network group 1 will handle loops 32 to 63. You need to see what vacant slots you have in card slots 0 to 7 in each network shelf. Keeping in mind that a superloop takes all 4 segments. So a T-1 card only uses 2 segments. So if you have a superloop 4 then slots 2 and 3 are used but the card only occupies 1 slot. You can out an MSDL card next to it but not a T-1 card.

Thanks for your response. I have 2 network groups 0 and 1. I will check what is in slots 0-7. I am hoping I can at least get one Dual PRI card in. I will post what I find. Thanks again for your response.

From what I can tell, just as you suggested, 8/9 and 24/25 are open. I believe I have seen a walk through here somewhere that provides step by step instructions to provision. Big Thanks to everyone for providing input!!!

Unfortunately that only tells you what network group they are in. You need to physically look and see what slots are available in each network group and shelf.

A visual inspections shows that the MSDL cards are located at:

Network group 0 - 0 slot 7

Network group 1 - 1 slot 8
